Axe File

The axe file has a coarse double-cut side and a fine single-cut smooth side. Start with the double-cut coarse side for rapid removal of metal then use the smooth side for a finer finish. Excellent for re-profiling carving axes and great to keep your axe or maul in good condition whether you carve spoons or split firewood. Great for heavy jointing of old saws or any new Flinn Garlick saw out of the box.
